Sculpture Space – 2027 Artist Residencies
A dynamic residency opportunity for sculptors who push boundaries and foster community. Located in Utica, New York’s historic industrial district, artists receive free housing, semi-private studios, and a $1,000 stipend. An application fee of $35 applies.

Folger Shakespeare Library – Artistic Research Fellowships
Artists whose work would benefit from primary research related to the histories, concepts, art, and objects of the early modern world can apply for one- to three-month fellowships. The awards include $4,000 per virtual month and $5,000 per onsite month.

Morgan-Menil Fellowship
This fellowship supports independent research projects on drawing throughout the history of art. It offers a stipend ranging from $4,000 to $5,100 per month and includes a modest travel allowance between NYC and Houston, Texas.

Smack Mellon – 2026–27 Artist Studio Program

West Virginia University Libraries – Mountain AIR
This residency offers project-based awards for US artists to spend a week exploring the West Virginia & Regional History Center’s environmental archives. The goal is to inspire new creative work that showcases the state’s ecological story.

Artists working in literature, visual arts, music, performance, and film & video can apply for residencies in Saratoga Springs, New York. The residencies range from two weeks to two months and include room, board, and a studio. There is a $35 application fee.

Locust Projects – Main Gallery Open Call
Artists worldwide can apply for the opportunity to create large-scale new work in the main gallery of this Miami organization. Selected artists receive a production budget of up to $10,000, a $5,000 artist fee, and more.

National Trust – Sycamore Gap Anniversary Commission
Proposals are sought to repurpose wood salvaged from the Sycamore Gap tree near Hadrian’s Wall. Five artists will receive £5,000 to develop their ideas, with one concept chosen in early 2026.

Scottsdale Arts – Brown Avenue Public Art Project
