Power Slap is taking its show international for the first time with a star-studded lineup. TMZ Sports has exclusively learned that Paige VanZant will be competing on October 24 in Abu Dhabi at the Space 42 Arena.
VanZant, a 30-year-old combat sports sensation, will be one of the featured athletes on the Power Slap 9 card. This event will coincide with UFC 308, headlined by Max Holloway vs. Ilia Topuria, all taking place on the famous “Fight Island.”
This will be VanZant’s second appearance in Power Slap, having previously emerged victorious in Power Slap 8 against Christine Wolmarans by unanimous decision. The upcoming opponent for VanZant at Power Slap 9 is yet to be announced.
Having previously competed in the UFC from 2014 to 2020, VanZant is no stranger to high-level competition. She has faced off against the likes of Rose Namajunas, Amanda Ribas, Bec Rawlings, and Michelle Waterson. Since departing from the UFC, VanZant has ventured into bare-knuckle boxing and now seems to have found a new home in Power Slap.
Power Slap 9 will also feature the reigning heavyweight champion, Da Crazy Hawaiian, with a record of 15-1 and 13 KOs, taking on Vasilii “Dumpling” Kamotskii, who boasts a record of 1-0 with 1 KO. The event will be streaming for free on Rumble.
Don’t miss the action as these talented athletes showcase their skills on an international stage in Abu Dhabi.
