Pee-wee Herman’s iconic bicycle from the 1985 cult classic “Pee-wee’s Big Adventure” has been sold at auction for a staggering amount.
The screen-used stunt bike, ridden by the late Paul Reubens in the film, fetched an impressive $125K at the auction held by Van Eaton Galleries.
This bicycle, one of only 14 made for the film, was custom-built and has been slightly restored to maintain its original appearance from the movie.
Fans of the film will remember the bike from memorable scenes like Pee-wee’s curb crash and the Warner Bros. studio chase where Paul swings on a vine like Tarzan.
Paul’s legacy as Pee-wee Herman endures, and now this piece of cinematic history continues to captivate fans.
