CWBChicago, founded in 2013 by residents of Wrigleyville and Boystown, was created in response to the lack of accurate information provided at local Community Policing (CAPS) meetings. Since its inception, the coverage area has expanded to include neighborhoods such as Lincoln Park, River North, The Loop, and Uptown, among others. The core mission of CWBChicago remains unchanged: to deliver original public safety reporting with comprehensive context and detail surpassing mainstream media outlets.
