Actor Peter Greene Found Dead in Lower East Side Apartment
Renowned actor Peter Greene, best known for his iconic roles in “The Mask” and “Pulp Fiction,” was tragically found dead in his Lower East Side apartment on Friday afternoon, confirmed by his longtime manager, Gregg Edward.
Greene, aged 60, was discovered unresponsive inside his Clinton Street residence around 3:25 p.m. and was pronounced dead at the scene, as reported by the authorities and Edward, who had managed him for a decade.
Expressing his grief, Edward shared, “He was a terrific guy and truly one of the great actors of our generation. His heart was as big as there was. I’m going to miss him. He was a great friend.”
Edward revealed that Greene, who also starred in “Usual Suspects,” was set to commence production with Mickey Rourke in January for an upcoming project titled “Mascots.” The exact cause of Greene’s death will be determined by the city’s medical examiner.
