Pink’s daughter, Willow Sage Hart, experienced a dream come true as she accompanied her mother at the 2026 Tony Awards.
The Grammy-winning artist, aged 46, took on the role of host for the event held on Sunday, June 7, at New York City’s Radio City Music Hall. She began the ceremony by warmly acknowledging her 15-year-old daughter, Willow.
“Tonight, I am here as Broadway’s biggest fan — well second biggest next to my daughter, Willow,” Pink humorously remarked during her opening speech. “I don’t know where she is [in Radio City], but I did not take this job so my kid could get Broadway selfies, although [we have backstage before tonight] … and a couple for mama.”
Willow joined her mother on the red carpet, where they were accompanied by Pink’s husband, Carey Hart, and their son Jameson.
Pink had previously mentioned that both Willow and her son Jameson, whom she shares with Hart, had endorsed her role as the host of the Tonys.
“When I was asked to host the Tonys, I immediately thought, ‘I have to get permission from my daughter,’” Pink stated in an April announcement. “I’ve never been on Broadway, and shouldn’t you have to have been on Broadway in order to host? That seems fair and right. But when I asked my daughter, she was really excited about being able to have a ticket to go to the Tonys, so I’m hosting the Tonys and I’m really, really excited and very nervous because that girl is a tough crowd!”
Earlier in the month, Pink discussed the family’s move to New York City to support Willow’s Broadway ambitions.

“She is musical theater obsessed. She has followed me around the world her whole life, on and off tour, and I told her, ‘It’s your turn. We’ll follow you,’” Pink shared during her appearance on CBS Mornings on Tuesday, June 2. “That’s what we do for our kids. We show up.”
As Pink praised her “phenomenal” and “very talented” daughter, she emphasized she wasn’t exaggerating about Willow’s potential.
“I would be like, ‘You can’t do that,’” Pink admitted about how she would address her daughter’s dreams if she doubted her success. “I would say it in a nicer way. I’d be like, ‘Maybe? Also, science.’”
Pink compared Willow to herself as a teenager, sharing that she used to be so nervous performing that she asked her friends’ parents to turn around while she sang for them.
“She’s more talented than I ever was at her age. And she’s also just really earnest, she’s a hard worker, she’s an A-plus student. She once said, ‘I want to get Broadway out of the way so I can be a trauma surgeon,’” Pink shared. “She’s so confident, and she walks through the world with such poise and grace. I’ve seen her on stage and I’m like, ‘Who is that person?’”
The next day, Pink provided an update on Willow’s journey in theater.
“She is now finally at the age where she would like to do her own thing, which I think is boring,” Pink humorously remarked in a Wednesday, June 3, interview with E! News. “She’s doing the damn thing. She’s in cabarets for charity, she’s in workshops, she just did Carrie the musical, which was dark. She’s killing it. It’s fun to watch. I told her she just has to work hard and be a good person, and show up and be a good teammate and work hard.”
