Poco F7 Pro Review: The New Mid-range Phone to Beat?
SHARE

The Poco F7 Pro is a mid-range smartphone that brings flagship power to the table with its sleek design, 2K display, and efficient chipset. If you’re looking for top-tier performance, great battery life, and a stunning display without breaking the bank, the Poco F7 Pro is a solid choice.

Design & Build:
The Poco F7 Pro sports a sleek glass and metal construction with IP68 water and dust resistance. The design is more refined compared to previous Poco devices, offering a premium look and feel. The phone features a circular camera module and a large Poco logo on the rear. It is well-balanced, solid in hand, and comes with an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner built into the display.

The 6.67-inch AMOLED display of the Poco F7 Pro is exceptional, with a 3200Ă—1440 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and support for Dolby Vision and HDR10+. The colors are accurate, and images look vibrant and sharp. However, the display may not be as bright as expected, especially in bright environments.

Specs & Performance:
The Poco F7 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, offering impressive performance and efficiency. The phone scores well in benchmark tests and handles multitasking smoothly. Gaming performance is decent, with support for games like Genshin Impact. The device features UFS 4.1 storage, fast RAM management, and various connectivity options like NFC and dual-frequency GPS.

Cameras:
The camera setup on the Poco F7 Pro includes a 50MP main sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 20MP selfie camera. The main camera delivers sharp and vibrant photos with good dynamic range, while night shots are solid thanks to AI-enhanced HDR. The ultrawide camera feels secondary, and the selfie camera performs well for social media shots.

Battery Life & Charging:
With a 6000mAh battery, the Poco F7 Pro offers excellent battery life, easily lasting a full day even under heavy use. The phone supports 90W HyperCharge, which can fully charge the device in around 37 minutes. The AI-powered power management system helps extend battery longevity.

Software & Features:
The Poco F7 Pro runs Xiaomi HyperOS 2 based on Android 15. The software offers a refined UI with AI integrations like Gemini and HyperAI. While there is some pre-installed bloatware, most of it is removable. The phone is promised three Android OS updates and four years of security patches.

Price & Availability:
The Poco F7 Pro is priced at ÂŁ499 for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant and ÂŁ549 for the 12GB RAM + 512GB storage variant. It is available in Black, Silver, and Blue color options. The phone can be purchased outright from the Xiaomi store and is expected to be available on Amazon.

In conclusion, the Poco F7 Pro offers flagship features at a mid-range price, making it a great value buy for 2025. If you prioritize speed, battery life, and visuals over cutting-edge camera features, the Poco F7 Pro is a phone worth considering.
