LOS ANGELES — Loni Anderson, known for her role as Jennifer Marlowe on the popular TV show “WKRP in Cincinnati,” passed away on Sunday, just days before her 80th birthday. She died at a Los Angeles hospital after battling a prolonged illness, as confirmed by her publicist, Cheryl J. Kagan.
Anderson’s family released a statement expressing their heartbreak over the loss of their beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. “WKRP in Cincinnati” aired from 1978 to 1982, portraying a struggling radio station in Ohio.
