According to witnesses in a nearby building, the bus lost control while traveling eastbound on 41st Street and crashed through the scaffolding, causing significant damage.

Video footage shared online showed the front half of the bus on the sidewalk, with the rear protruding into the road, creating a chaotic scene.

“Yo, that s–t’s in the building!” one person exclaimed in the background of the video, highlighting the severity of the crash.

The bus driver, a man in his 30s, was identified by authorities. An investigation into the cause of the accident is currently underway.
