Power Rangers Actor Hector David Jr. Sentenced to Jail for Assault
“Power Rangers” actor Hector David Jr. has found himself in legal trouble after pleading guilty to assaulting a man in Idaho last year. The actor, known for his role as the “Green Ranger” in the superhero franchise, was sentenced on Wednesday in Canyon County Court.
Hector pled guilty to misdemeanor battery and was handed a 180-day jail sentence, with 135 days suspended. This means he will serve 45 days in jail and must adhere to strict conditions upon release to avoid further incarceration. Additionally, the judge ordered Hector to complete 100 hours of community service and placed him on 2 years of supervised probation.
Back in July, Hector was involved in a dispute with an elderly man over a parking spot in Nampa, Idaho. The altercation turned physical when Hector allegedly shoved the man to the ground, although the man did not sustain serious injuries.
After the incident, Hector fled the scene in his truck. However, with the help of the community, law enforcement was able to identify him, leading to the issuance of an arrest warrant. Hector was formally charged with battery in late July.
