Last evening, President Donald J. Trump, accompanied by the First Lady, along with key members of his administration and military leaders, gathered in the nation’s capital to honor the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Army. This celebration drew together veterans, active-duty personnel, wounded warriors, Gold Star Families, and patriotic Americans from across the country.

The event culminated in a grand parade that encapsulated a day filled with festivities, reflecting on the rich legacy of the U.S. Army and the countless heroes who have safeguarded the nation through strength, selflessness, and bravery. The gathering also looked ahead, boldly envisioning the next 250 years of patriotism and military accomplishment.

As President Trump articulated in his remarks: “Tonight, we affirm with unwavering certainty that in the years ahead, and in every generation hence, whenever duty calls and whatever danger comes, the American Soldier will be there. No matter the risks, no matter the obstacles, our warriors will charge into battle, they will plunge into the crucible of fire, and they will seize the crown of victory because the United States of America will always have the grace of Almighty God and the iron will of the United States Army.”
