As reported by The Jerusalem Post, former President Trump recently proclaimed on Truth Social, “With Iran’s nuclear ambitions now thoroughly DESTROYED, it is crucial for all Middle Eastern nations to embrace the Abraham Accords.”
This call to action is not new; Trump has repeatedly highlighted the significance of Arab Muslim countries joining the peace agreements he facilitated during his presidency.
During his first term, four Muslim nations agreed to engage in this diplomatic process, showcasing a significant shift in regional relations.
Continuing his initiatives, Trump is now working to persuade Azerbaijan and several Central Asian Muslim countries to join the Abraham Accords as well.
However, according to a Reuters report cited by The Jerusalem Post, these diplomatic advances face hurdles due to the ongoing conflict in Gaza.
As noted by Pamela Geller, “Few world leaders have done more to promote peace than President Trump.”
Indeed, Trump is positioning himself as a key player in fostering peace treaties globally.
Furthermore, Trump is scheduled to meet with Russian President Putin in Alaska to discuss ways to promote peace between Russia and Ukraine.
Geller has also remarked, “It is a disgrace that President Trump has not been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.”
The conversation surrounding Trump’s potential nomination for this prestigious award has gained traction, especially following his recent peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
