In a recent development reported by The Gateway Pundit, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth has summoned the highest military commanders of the United States to convene at the Marine Corps Base in Quantico, Virginia, on Tuesday.
The announcement was made last Thursday, albeit lacking specific details about the gathering’s agenda.
However, it has since come to light that Hegseth intends to deliver a speech focused on the military’s “warrior ethos” while delineating the new trajectory of the military under the Trump administration.
President Trump weighed in on the impending meeting, characterizing it as “a very nice gathering, reflecting on our military prowess and overall readiness.”
He elaborated, “You know the term ‘esprit de corps’? That encapsulates everything we’re discussing—an exchange about our actions, their initiatives, and our overall performance.”
The Independent has further reported that President Trump will be present during the assembly.

As per NBC News:
In a Sunday interview with NBC News, President Donald Trump confirmed his intention to participate in an unusual meeting orchestrated by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, which is expected to gather hundreds of senior military officers near Washington on Tuesday.
“This gathering is simply a pleasant meeting, focused on affirming our military status, discussing our strengths, and sharing numerous positive anecdotes. It’s a good message,” Trump conveyed in a phone interview. “We’ve got some extraordinary individuals coming in; it’s all about ‘esprit de corps’. You know how that goes? That’s the essence of our discussion—what we’re doing collectively, our respective contributions, and our overall status.”
Last week, Hegseth summoned numerous senior military leaders stationed globally to come to Washington for this meeting of high-ranking Pentagon officials.
The event is poised to take place at the Quantico Marine Corps Base in Virginia, roughly 30 minutes from Washington D.C. This locale will potentially host thousands of military personnel, inclusive of the upper echelons, their aides, and their security details.
On Thursday, President Trump expressed his full support of Hegseth’s initiative to bring together the U.S. military’s top generals and admirals, saying, “I think it’s fantastic.”
