Trump Orders Immediate Action Against Protesters Targeting ICE Vehicles
On Friday, President Trump directed the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to take swift action against individuals throwing projectiles at ICE vehicles. His remarks came as he returned from Texas, where he expressed his outrage over what he termed the “violence” inflicted on law enforcement officials.
“I witnessed THUGS violently hurling rocks and bricks at ICE Officers while they traversed a roadway in their official vehicles,” Trump stated, lamenting the substantial damage inflicted on these new assets. He added, “Such blatant disregard for LAW AND ORDER is unacceptable. I am instructing Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem and Border Czar Tom Homan to empower all law enforcement personnel to halt their vehicles and apprehend these SLIMEBALLS using whatever means necessary. I am granting full authority for ICE to protect themselves as they safeguard the public. I will not tolerate attacks on law enforcement vehicles!” He conveyed this message through his platform, Truth Social.
Federal Agents Raid Cannabis Farms Amid Protests
In a related incident, federal agents launched a raid on two marijuana farms owned by Glass House Farms in Ventura County, California. These operations, located in Camarillo and Carpinteria, became sites of contention as anti-ICE protesters reportedly received advance notice of the raid following the acquisition of a search warrant.
The scene escalated dramatically as anti-ICE demonstrators confronted federal agents. Reports indicate that some protesters resorted to throwing large rocks at ICE vehicles, creating a chaotic environment.
