This Holy Week, Melania and I unite in prayer with Christians around the world, commemorating the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ—our Lord and Savior. He is the living Son of God who triumphed over death, liberated us from sin, and opened the gates of Heaven to all of humanity.

Starting with Christ’s grand entrance into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday and progressing through the Paschal Triduum—which begins on Holy Thursday with the Mass of the Lord’s Supper, followed by Good Friday, and culminating in the Easter Vigil on Holy Saturday night—this week serves as a period of reflection for Christians. It is a time to honor Jesus’ crucifixion and prepare spiritually for His miraculous Resurrection.

Throughout this sacred week, we are reminded that the splendor of Easter Sunday is intertwined with the profound sacrifice Jesus made on the cross. In His final moments on Earth, He willingly faced unimaginable suffering and execution, driven by His boundless love for all creation. It is through His agony that we find redemption; through His death, our sins are forgiven; and through His Resurrection, we receive the promise of eternal life. On Easter morning, the stone is rolled away, the tomb stands empty, and light triumphs over darkness, proclaiming that death is not the end.

This Holy Week, my Administration reaffirms its commitment to uphold the Christian faith in our educational institutions, military, workplaces, hospitals, and government. We will steadfastly defend the right to religious liberty, cherish the sanctity of life, and advocate for the presence of God in our public discourse.

As we reflect on Christ’s redemptive sacrifice, we draw inspiration from His love, humility, and obedience, especially during life’s most challenging and uncertain times. This week, we earnestly pray for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon our beloved Nation. We hope that America continues to serve as a beacon of faith, hope, and freedom for the world, striving toward a future that mirrors the truth, beauty, and goodness of Christ’s eternal kingdom in Heaven.

May God bless you and your family during this meaningful season, and may His blessings continue to flow over the United States of America.
