As seen in the Sanctuary City of Chicago,

Today, President Trump is poised to sign two executive orders aimed at reinforcing law and order while directing the Department of Homeland Security and the Justice Department to scrutinize Democrat-led sanctuary cities that purportedly shelter criminal illegal aliens.

The signing ceremony is scheduled for 5 PM ET.

According to Reuters, a White House official has indicated that “President Trump plans to escalate his confrontation with Democratic-led states and cities that do not fully comply with federal immigration regulations.”

During a press briefing earlier today, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt elaborated on the impending orders, highlighting one that aims to “empower and mobilize America’s law enforcement to apprehend criminals and safeguard innocent citizens,” while the other focuses on “protecting American communities from criminal aliens.”

The executive order concerning sanctuary cities will “instruct the Attorney General and Secretary of Homeland Security to compile a list of state and local jurisdictions that impede the enforcement of federal immigration laws,” Leavitt announced.

There is a palpable sense of hope that officials in sanctuary states and cities will be duly warned and possibly prosecuted if they persist in violating federal statutes that prevent them from shielding illegal aliens from ICE through noncompliance. Border Czar Tom Homan and White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller have informed that these sanctuary jurisdictions may be engaging in “systemic criminal violations,” suggesting that felony charges could be forthcoming if they continue to flout federal law.

Leavitt also previewed a series of events this week, marking the first 100 days of Trump’s return to the White House, which includes a press briefing with Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent on Tuesday, President Trump’s rally in Michigan, and a Cabinet meeting on Wednesday.

Tom Homan joined Leavitt in today’s briefing to discuss the Trump administration’s notable achievement of record-low border crossings and ongoing efforts to deport criminals from within the country.

Leavitt: “This week marks the first 100 days of the Trump Presidency, and without a doubt, these have been the most significant and historic days for any administration in American history. President Trump has already fulfilled hundreds of promises made to the American people, and we will continue to highlight those throughout this week.

Tomorrow, I will host a press briefing at the same time, bright and early, to showcase the Trump administration’s economic achievements alongside Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent. Tomorrow evening, President Trump will head to Michigan to discuss what he has accomplished for the American populace. On Wednesday, the President will conduct an open press Cabinet meeting, where each Cabinet member will share their successes to date and their plans moving forward.

Today, we kick off 100 Day Week with a focus on the President’s historic initiative to secure our southern border. Later this afternoon, President Trump will sign an executive order related to law and order, as well as another order concerning sanctuary cities. The first order aims to strengthen and unleash America’s law enforcement to pursue criminals and protect innocent citizens.

The second order will center on safeguarding American communities from criminal aliens and will instruct the Attorney General and Secretary of Homeland Security to publish a list of jurisdictions that obstruct the enforcement of federal immigration laws. Following these signings, the President will have issued over 140 executive orders, nearing the total number signed by the Biden administration during its four-year tenure.

In reference to Joe Biden, it should be noted that his ineffective open border policies have allowed an influx of over 10 million illegal aliens into the United States over the past four years. Innocent Americans, such as Laken Riley, Jocelyn Nungary, and Rachel Morin, tragically lost their lives at the hands of these illegal aliens, a direct consequence of Biden’s negligence.

As reported by , the theme for Monday’s “100 Day Week,” as outlined in the White House Press Schedule, is “THE FIRST 100 DAYS: THE BORDER IS SECURE.” Upon their arrival at the White House this morning, members of the media were greeted with a striking display: 100 images of violent criminal aliens were arranged across the lawn, unveiling their crimes and revealing exactly whom Democrats and their sympathetic media allies are allegedly attempting to protect. These individuals were arrested for egregious offenses including murder, rape, and various sexual crimes against children.
