The Reality of Royal Life: The Queen Star Opens Up About Prince Andrew
The star of The Queen recently shared some candid thoughts about royal life when asked if he would ever want to trade places with Prince Andrew.
“No,” the award-winning actor responded. “The fairytale image of it seems so extraordinary – living in palaces, having everything you want, servants, and all that kind of stuff. But the reality is quite different. There are more restrictions than freedoms. No amount of wealth or privilege can make up for the lack of basic freedoms that many of us take for granted. So, no, I would not want to live that life.”
Recent reports have also raised concerns about Prince Andrew’s well-being, suggesting that he is “wasting precious resources” and “his time” within the confines of his palatial walls.
“Andrew seems to spend most of his time either riding around the estate on horseback or watching live coverage of planes landing and taking off,” veteran royal reporter Jennie Bond revealed.
