Prince Harry Would 'Love' to Spend More Time In U.K. But Not on 'Royal Estates' as Wife Meghan Markle Would Only Consider 'Celeb-Heavy' Cotswolds

Prince Harry has recently indicated his intentions to frequently visit the U.K. following his reconciliation with King Charles.

RadarOnline.com can confirm that the Duke, aged 41, plans to visit the U.K. every few months starting in 2026, aiming to strengthen his relationship with his father, who is eager to connect with his grandchildren, Archie, six, and Lilibet, four.

Sources reveal that Charles, now 76, is open to offering Harry and Meghan Markle, 44, their own residence in the U.K.; however, the location must be far removed from Harry’s brother, Prince William, and Kate Middleton, both 43.

An insider stated, “There are plenty of vacant properties on the estate. The Royal Family certainly has no shortage of accommodations at this time. But living next door to William and Kate wouldn’t be ideal.”

However, a significant obstacle lies in Harry’s desire to spend more time in the U.K. Reports suggest that Meghan favors the trendy Cotswolds, home to celebrities like Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi—and potentially Jay-Z and Beyoncé—over traditional royal residences.

The former Suits star spent considerable time in the picturesque Cotswolds during her early engagements with Harry.

A source commented, “The Cotswolds could be a potential area for them to consider if they’re exploring homes outside the royal premises.”

Harry, however, has emphasized that he has “no intention” of returning to royal life. “His family and life are rooted here,” indicated a Sussex insider when questioned about leaving Montecito.

Another source remarked, “Harry has a strong desire to be in the U.K. more often. His plans align with his commitments to various causes. If he is requested to appear, he will make arrangements to do so.”
