Princess Eugenie Faces Scrutiny Over Charity Work
Princess Eugenie, known for her philanthropic efforts, is facing scrutiny over her charity work. The U.K. Charity Commission is currently reviewing concerns about the Anti-Slavery Collective, a nonprofit organization co-founded by Eugenie and Julia de Boinville in 2017.
The Anti-Slavery Collective aims to combat modern slavery and sexual exploitation, but questions have been raised regarding its spending and financial disclosures. In April 2025, the organization reported income of approximately $116,000, with over $60,000 in donations. However, its total spending amounted to around $378,000, with a significant portion allocated towards staff salaries.
Reports by The Observer and the Daily Mail highlighted these financial discrepancies, prompting the Charity Commission to investigate further. A spokesperson for the Commission stated, “We are assessing concerns raised in the media about charitable spending at The Anti-Slavery Collective to determine what role there is, if any, for the Commission.”
It remains to be seen how Princess Eugenie will address these concerns and ensure transparency in her charity’s operations. Stay tuned for updates on this developing story.
