Pro-Hamas Groups Celebrate Attack on Israeli Embassy Staffers in DC
Following the tragic murder of two Israeli embassy staffers at a Jewish museum in Washington, DC, pro-Hamas groups and Iran-backed trolls have labeled the incident as a “heroic attack,” justifying it as a response to the conflict in Gaza.
The Gaza Now media group, known for its pro-Hamas stance, hailed the suspect Elias Rodriguez, 31, as a hero fighting against Zionism and praised the violent act that claimed the lives of Yaron Lischinsky, 28, and Sarah Milgrim, 26.
“In a moment of courage, he decided to make his voice heard and boldly confront the killers,” the group posted on Telegram, referencing the embassy workers, one of whom was involved in humanitarian aid efforts for Gaza.
Lischinsky and Milgrim were actively working towards peace initiatives between Israelis and Palestinians, with a focus on providing aid to Gaza.
The Palestinian Mujahideen Movement also joined in celebrating the attack, citing it as a sign of global anger towards Israel due to the Gaza conflict.
