Arsenal had the third-best attack in the league this season, but they also had the third-best defense, which is a testament to Arteta’s tactical acumen. The problem was that they lacked a true Number 9 to convert chances into goals on a consistent basis. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette shared the scoring load, but neither were able to reach the 20-goal mark that their counterparts at Liverpool, Manchester City, and even Newcastle United did. If they can find a striker who can consistently put the ball in the back of the net, they might just have what it takes to challenge for the title next season.

1. Manchester City

Despite their disappointing campaign this season, Manchester City remain the favorites to win the Premier League title next season. Pep Guardiola’s side has been the dominant force in English football for the past few years, and they have the resources and the talent to bounce back from this season’s setback. City will likely look to strengthen their squad in the summer transfer window, especially in defense where they have struggled at times this season. If they can address their defensive issues and get back to their free-flowing attacking football, they will be a force to be reckoned with next season.

With the Premier League season coming to a close, all eyes will now turn to the summer transfer window and the start of the new campaign. While it is impossible to predict how things will play out, one thing is for sure – the next title race promises to be just as exciting and unpredictable as this one. Liverpool may be the champions now, but the likes of Arsenal, Manchester City, and others will be looking to dethrone them and claim the Premier League crown for themselves. Only time will tell who will come out on top, but one thing is certain – it is going to be one thrilling ride.

The Premier League season has been full of surprises, but one team that is bound to make a comeback next season is Manchester City. Despite their early exit from the title race this year, the expectations will be high at the Etihad Stadium once again. With new director of football Hugo Viana at the helm, City will be looking to rebuild and fill the void left by Kevin de Bruyne. The team will also need to navigate through Rodri’s recovery from an ACL tear. However, with Pep Guardiola leading the charge and Erling Haaland ready to showcase his goal-scoring prowess, Manchester City is definitely a team to watch out for in the upcoming season.

2. Arsenal
Arsenal, on the other hand, has had its fair share of struggles in recent seasons. The Gunners have been missing a prolific forward, and the pressure is mounting on manager Mikel Arteta to deliver results. However, there is still hope for Arsenal to rise to the top in a season full of imperfections. If other teams fail to conduct their business effectively in the transfer window, Arsenal may have a chance to capitalize on their weaknesses and emerge victorious. But the surest way for Arsenal to secure a top spot in the Premier League would be to land the forward they desperately need. Without a quality striker, the Gunners may struggle to compete with the top teams in the league.

In conclusion, the upcoming Premier League season is shaping up to be an exciting one. Manchester City will be looking to reclaim their title, while Arsenal will be aiming to make a strong comeback. The transfer window will play a crucial role in determining the success of these teams, and it will be interesting to see how they navigate through the challenges that lie ahead. Only time will tell if these teams have what it takes to rise to the top in a league full of imperfections.
