Infamous final statements.
A rapper and host of a podcast suffered a horrific injury on the Fourth of July due to a fireworks accident. The incident occurred shortly after he posted a video on social media holding fireworks and joking about blowing someone up.
“Who wants to get blown up today,” rapper 4xtra jokingly asks in the video. “I’m going to blow you up! I’m blowing someone up today.”
Ironically, the person he ended up blowing up was himself.
The rapper, also known as the co-host of the No Jumper podcast, suffered severe injuries when one of the fireworks exploded in his hand.
Reports on social media indicate that 4xtra lost two fingers as a result of the accident.
A post on the No Jumper podcast’s account mentioned that the rapper had “reportedly blown off his hand with a firework.”
There were circulating images showing the gruesome extent of his injuries on social media.
No Jumper owner Adam22 provided an update on 4xtra’s condition, stating that he only lost two fingers and regained his vision after a temporary loss.
More playful threats were made by 4xtra in other parts of the video.
4xtra’s sister, Emily, launched a GoFundMe campaign to assist with her brother’s medical bills resulting from the tragic incident.
According to her, “On the 4th of July, 4XTRA was injured in a firework accident. As many of you know, medical care can be incredibly expensive and add up very fast.”
“Resan is someone who lights up every room with his humor and energy,” Emily wrote, using the rapper’s real name. “If you’ve ever laughed with him, shared a moment, or simply care about his well-being.”
“Any support-from donations to prayers or even just sharing this-means the world to us,” she added.
The Fourth of July sees a high number of emergency room visits, with many incidents related to traumatic injuries and heat-related illnesses.
Dr. Robert Biernbaum, an emergency medicine physician, highlighted the significant impact of fireworks on emergency room visits during the holiday.
