Regé-Jean Page, known for his breakout role in the hit Netflix series “Bridgerton,” is set to make his return to the streaming platform in a new project titled “Hancock Park.” The upcoming series is described as an erotic thriller and is currently in development.
The premise of “Hancock Park” revolves around a charismatic outsider, portrayed by Page, who enters the lives of a seemingly perfect family in Los Angeles by renting their backyard guest house. As he delves deeper into their world, the facade of this elite community starts to unravel, revealing the hidden desires, deceit, and obsessions that lurk beneath the surface of one of LA’s most prestigious neighborhoods.
In addition to starring in the series, Page will also serve as an executive producer through his production company, A Mighty Stranger. The show is being written by Matthew Barry, known for his work on popular series like “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” and “Industry.” Emily Brown of A Mighty Stranger and Drew Comins of Creative Engine Entertainment will also executive produce the series, which will be produced by Fifth Season.
Since gaining widespread recognition for his role in “Bridgerton,” Page has appeared in various film projects, including the Netflix feature “The Gray Man” and “Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves.” He is represented by UTA, Brillstein, Johnson Shapiro Slewett & Kole, and Shelter PR.
As for Barry, the talented writer has an impressive track record in the industry, having worked on shows like “EastEnders,” “Casualty,” and “Death in Paradise.” He is represented by WME and The Agency.
