Congresswoman Nancy Mace Uses House Hearing to Expose Alleged Wrongdoing
In a striking move during a House hearing focused on “surveillance in private spaces,” Congresswoman Nancy Mace presented a nude photograph of herself, which she claims was taken without her consent by her former fiancé, Patrick Bryant.
While Mace asserts that Bryant recorded her without permission, he has categorically denied these allegations.
This incident follows Mace’s earlier claims from February, where she publicly stated that she had been a victim of rape and accused four men of sexual assault.
According to Newsweek:
During the hearing, Mace displayed an image from a video taken of her, alleging that Bryant not only recorded her but also filmed other women without their knowledge. She described his actions as “creepy” and “criminal.”
Prior to the hearing, Mace took to X (formerly Twitter) to preface her testimony: “Today, I will show my naked body from one of the videos predator and rapist Patrick Bryant took of me and many other women. Without our knowledge. Without our permission. And without our consent.”
“This naked silhouette is my naked body. I didn’t know that I had been filmed. I didn’t give my consent. I didn’t give my permission, and this particular video that Patrick Bryant recorded of me on his secret camera, he saved for over three years without my knowledge.”
Mace declared, “Today I exposed a monster whose victims deserve justice. The victims also deserve stronger federal and state laws to protect them.” She emphasized her commitment to supporting other potential victims, saying, “I have your back. I would run through a brick wall to protect women and girls in South Carolina.”

Bryant spoke out to South Carolina-based Fits News, stating, “I categorically deny the false and outrageous claims made by Nancy Mace. I have never raped anyone. I have never hidden cameras. I have never harmed any woman. These accusations are not just false. They are malicious and deeply personal. My mistake was loving and trusting someone who later weaponized our relationship.”
