Democrats Are Revealing Their True Intentions.
During an appearance on Fox Business’ Mornings with Maria Bartiromo, Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) inadvertently shed light on the Democrats’ agenda amid the looming government shutdown.
While defending his party’s dismissal of Republican calls for spending cuts, Khanna acknowledged that Democrats are seeking increased funding for “healthcare” programs that would include undocumented immigrants.

But you don’t want to eliminate the filibuster. Everyone desires the 60 votes for regular order.Republicans here are saying Democrats aim to ease healthcare access for illegal immigrants.
They claim a return to pre-COVID spending, yet if you add a trillion dollars in healthcare, where’s the pre-COVID reality? How do you respond?
Rep. Ro Khanna:
I’ve consistently advocated for abolishing the filibuster, even during Joe Biden’s presidency. If they want to pass a budget, they have the power to do it now—with control over the Senate, House, and presidency.Regarding healthcare spending, the truth isn’t being voiced. The funds designated for the undocumented represent a minimal fraction of the Medicaid cuts or the Affordable Care Act. Anyone analyzing these figures will realize that 90-95% of the funding targets American citizens.
What is being proposed, however, are substantial cuts to Medicaid, which will adversely affect rural hospitals and hurt around 90 million Americans earning below $75,000. Those on the exchanges might see their healthcare premiums skyrocket by 80%.
Even Khanna concedes that a sliver of taxpayers’ money is directed towards illegals, insisting it’s minimal. However, why should Americans be responsible for any costs incurred by those who bypass our immigration laws?

Interestingly, even Rep. Maxine Waters acknowledged that Democrats are keen on providing free healthcare to illegal immigrants.
