Roman Reigns breaks silence after standing tall over former 4-time WWE World Champion at Saturday Night’s Main Event XLV

Roman Reigns has spoken out after his victory over Seth Rollins at Saturday Night’s Main Event XLV, where he concluded the event alongside Jalen Brunson.

Reigns is scheduled to defend the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Rollins at the upcoming SummerSlam Premium Live Event. Both Reigns and Rollins made their debut on the main roster with Dean Ambrose as part of The Shield. They achieved success by winning the WWE Tag Team Championships, but Rollins eventually chose to leave the group to pursue a solo career.

Looking ahead to 2026, Reigns and Rollins are preparing for a final showdown at SummerSlam. At Saturday Night’s Main Event XLV, Reigns emerged victorious over his upcoming opponent after Brunson intervened to stop Rollins from executing the Stomp. This allowed Reigns to make a comeback with a Superman Punch and the Spear. Following the event, Reigns expressed his thoughts on social media after he and Brunson concluded WWE SNME on a high note.

“Greatness Acknowledged!” wrote Reigns.

Mark Henry wants to see Roman Reigns face The Rock

Roman Reigns and The Rock played pivotal roles in the lead-up to WrestleMania XL, where they teamed up against Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes. Despite a mishap where Reigns accidentally speared The Rock, The Bloodline emerged victorious.

In an interview with PWMania, Mark Henry expressed his desire to see a match-up between Reigns and The Rock.

“I hope so. I’ve been begging for it for 5 years now, and it still hasn’t happened… I think that will be the biggest wrestling attraction in the world that people want to see that we haven’t seen yet. It would be up there as one of the biggest fights in wrestling history. It would be up there with Rock vs. Hogan. The Rock has been in a lot of those kinds of matches. He gets around when it comes to the historical fights. There’s been Rock and Hogan, Rock and Austin, and Rock and Undertaker. If this trend carries on, we’ll probably get Rock and Roman, and that would be one hell of a fight,”

Roman Reigns claimed the World Heavyweight Championship by defeating CM Punk at WrestleMania 42.
