Roseanne Barr’s rise to fame and subsequent fall from grace is a story that captivated the entertainment industry in 2018. The comedy star, known for her outspoken and controversial opinions, found herself in hot water after a tweet that many deemed racist and offensive. But according to Barr, it was all part of a divine plan.

As Barr tells it, God spoke to her in the middle of the night and urged her to take action. Fueled by a mix of Ambien and alcohol, she logged onto her laptop and came across a meme comparing Valerie Jarrett to a character from “Planet of the Apes.” Without hesitation, Barr added her own caption, sparking an uproar that ultimately led to the cancellation of her hit show, “Roseanne.”

Despite the backlash and public condemnation, Barr stands by her actions. She believes that her tweet served a greater purpose in bringing attention to the Iran nuclear deal and sparking a national conversation about race and politics. In her eyes, the fallout from her tweet was all part of a larger plan orchestrated by a higher power.

The new documentary “Roseanne Is America” delves into Barr’s life and career, chronicling her rise to fame and the events that led to her downfall. Directed by Joel Gilbert, the film offers a raw and unfiltered look at Barr’s side of the story, from her humble beginnings in an Orthodox Jewish household to her meteoric rise to stardom and the controversies that ultimately derailed her career.

In the documentary, Barr reflects on the moment that changed her life forever and led to her exile from Hollywood. She remains unapologetic about her tweet, arguing that it was taken out of context and misunderstood by many in the industry. Despite facing criticism and condemnation from her peers, Barr remains steadfast in her belief that she was simply speaking her mind and standing up for what she believed in.

As she continues to navigate the aftermath of the tweet that rocked the entertainment world, Barr remains defiant and unapologetic. She refuses to back down or shy away from controversy, instead embracing her role as a lightning rod for debate and discussion. In the end, Barr remains convinced that she was simply following a higher calling, even if it meant sacrificing everything she had worked so hard to achieve. “They took my show and killed me off. It’s like ā€˜The Walking Dead’ when they killed Glenn. It’s like, why’d you have to kill Glenn?ā€

As for the future, Barr is focused on her YouTube channel, where she dishes on politics and social issues. She’s also working on a comedy tour that she says will focus on the ā€œPC police,ā€ cancel culture, and the media. Barr says she’s not interested in a return to TV — at least not in the current climate.

ā€œI’m not going to be on TV anymore because I’m not going to waste my time doing bullshit that doesn’t help anybody,ā€ she says. ā€œI’m going to be doing comedy that helps me, like George Carlin, Lenny Bruce, and Richard Pryor did. I just want to make people laugh and fucking think. That’s it.ā€

And as for the cancel culture that took her down, Barr is unrepentant.

ā€œI’m not going to give an inch,ā€ she says. ā€œI’m going to keep doing what I do. And if they don’t like it, then fuck them.ā€

After being canceled by ABC for her controversial tweet, Roseanne Barr is not backing down. She is currently working on a new comedy series with Allan Stephan, known for his work on “Roseanne” and “Arli$$.” The new series is described as a mix between “The Roseanne Show” and “The Sopranos,” focusing on a small-town farmer in Alabama who takes on drug gangs and China to save the United States.

Despite the backlash she faced, Barr is determined to move forward with her new project. She expressed her frustration with the decision to cancel her show before any sponsors pulled out, calling it “stupid and shortsighted.” She also criticized the Left for turning against her, stating that apologizing only made things worse. She believes that the young women who criticized her failed to recognize the boundaries she broke for women in the industry.

As Barr prepares to go into production on her new series, she remains unapologetic and determined to prove her critics wrong. She is confident in the project and has no regrets about the tweet that led to her downfall. Moving forward, she is focused on creating content that challenges the status quo and pushes boundaries in the world of entertainment.

In conclusion, Roseanne Barr is not letting her past mistakes define her future. She is forging ahead with a new comedy series that promises to be both entertaining and thought-provoking. Despite the challenges she has faced, Barr is determined to prove her critics wrong and continue making a mark in the industry.
