Another key speaker at RSAC 2025 was Diana Kelley, the CTO of Protect AI, who emphasized the importance of securing AI models throughout their lifecycle. She debunked the myth that AI is magic, highlighting the need for rigorous security measures to protect against threats like model poisoning and prompt injections.

Kelley introduced the OWASP Top 10 for gen AI and called for a full-stack approach to AI security, partnering with CISOs early, and treating various AI components as privileged attack surfaces. The announcement of Palo Alto Networks’ intent to acquire Protect AI on the same day as Kelley’s presentation further underscored the significance of her keynote.

CISOs are under pressure to demonstrate the operational impact of AI solutions, with a focus on platform consolidation and automating alert triage to achieve real wins in reducing dwell time and enhancing phishing resilience.
