The upcoming series adaptation of John Grisham’s “The Rainmaker” has just released its first trailer, giving viewers a glimpse into the thrilling legal drama that awaits. The trailer introduces us to Rudy Baylor, played by Milo Callaghan, who finds himself jobless after being let go from a prestigious law firm on his first day. Desperate for work, he reluctantly takes on a case with a lawyer, portrayed by Lana Parilla, who operates out of an old fast food restaurant.

As Rudy delves into his first case, he uncovers two intertwined conspiracies surrounding the death of a client’s son. This discovery puts him in direct conflict with his former boss and even strains his relationship with his girlfriend. The tension and intrigue are palpable as Rudy navigates the murky waters of the legal world, trying to seek justice for his client while facing formidable adversaries.

The stellar cast of “The Rainmaker” includes John Slattery, Madison Iseman, P.J. Byrne, Dan Fogler, Wade Briggs, and Robyn Cara. The series is set to premiere on USA Network on August 15th at 10 p.m. ET/PT, with episodes available for streaming on Peacock one week after their initial airing.

Executive producer and showrunner Michael Seitzman leads the talented team behind the series, with John Grisham, Patrick Moran, Jason Richman, David Gernert, and Jason Blum also serving as executive producers.
