Stars Shine in Versace at Fashion Affair and Surprise SNL Appearance
At a recent high-profile fashion affair, singer Carpenter was joined by the iconic Donatella Versace herself, who stunned in a bright pink suit that perfectly contrasted Carpenter’s own outfit. Also in attendance was actress Anne Hathaway, who opted for a sleek, all-black tailored suit. The star-studded event also saw the likes of Ariana DeBose, Laura Harrier, Eva Chen, and Dylan Mulvaney.
But the surprises didn’t stop there. Carpenter made a spontaneous appearance on Saturday Night Live, where she joined host Quinta Brunson during her opening monologue. Brunson, hosting for the second time, kicked off the show with a comedic musical number about the perks of being short. She humorously sang about her height and even mentioned other famous “shorties” like Simone Biles, Kendrick Lamar, and Tom Holland before Carpenter’s unexpected cameo.
Upon being called out by Brunson, Carpenter humorously replied, “I mean, you were talking about being short, so I thought I’d stop by,” before joining in on the fun musical number. Sporting another Versace creation, Carpenter rocked a pink short-sleeve crop top with black piping and buttons, paired with a chic black mini-skirt and a gold chain belt.
