The Samsung Galaxy A17 budget smartphone is slowly revealing itself, with detailed renders recently released. These renders, shared by Android Headlines, give us a good look at the design of the Galaxy A17.
From the front, the Galaxy A17 bears a striking resemblance to its predecessor, the Galaxy A16 5G, with a teardrop notch and a thick chin bezel. However, the back of the device shows a significant change – the camera module. Instead of the distinct camera modules seen on the Galaxy A16, the Galaxy A17 features a unified camera module similar to the one on the Galaxy A56 and Galaxy A36.
The camera module comes in a sleek grey-black tone, with a pure black camera unit. While the color options may not be very inspiring, there is hope that Samsung will introduce more colorful options like the Light Green variant of the Galaxy A16 5G.
In terms of specifications, the Galaxy A17 is expected to launch around October. Previous leaks suggest it will be powered by the Exynos 1380 chip with 6GB of RAM, sport a 6.7-inch AMOLED display, a 50MP main camera, and a 5000mAh battery. With room for improvement from its predecessor, the Galaxy A16 5G, Samsung has the opportunity to step up its game in the budget smartphone market with the Galaxy A17.
Stay tuned for more updates on the Samsung Galaxy A17 as we approach its launch date.
