The Samsung Galaxy S26 Edge smartphone has recently appeared in a benchmark test, giving us a glimpse into its impressive specifications. The device, with the code number SM-S947U, was spotted on the Geekbench 6 tool by leaker Abhishek Yadav.
According to the leak, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Edge will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 processor and will come equipped with 12GB of RAM. The phone will run on Android 16, which is the latest version of the operating system.
The benchmark scores for the Galaxy S26 Edge are quite remarkable, surpassing any previous smartphone scores by a significant margin. The device achieved a single-core score of 3393 and a multi-core score of 11515. In comparison, the previous model, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge, scored around 3000 in single-core performance and 9338 in multi-core performance. This represents a 13% and 23% improvement in performance, respectively.
Interestingly, the Galaxy S26 Edge’s single-core performance is on par with the iPhone 16 Pro Max, which is known for its exceptional single-core performance. However, the iPhone lags behind in multi-core performance, scoring only 8378.
