The latest leaks surrounding the pricing of the Samsung Galaxy S26 series in Europe have caused quite a stir among tech enthusiasts. According to reports from Tech Advisor, the upcoming flagship smartphones from Samsung are set to see price increases across most models in Europe.

The leaked information from a French website reveals that the Samsung Galaxy S26 will start at €999, which is a significant jump from its predecessor’s starting price of €959. Similarly, the Samsung Galaxy S26+ will see a price increase to €1,269 from €1,169. The only model in the lineup that maintains its pricing is the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra 256GB, priced at €1,469.

These price hikes are believed to be driven by various industry trends, including the rising costs of AI-related RAM. This trend makes storage upgrades more expensive for consumers, resulting in higher overall prices for the smartphones.

As Samsung gears up for its next Galaxy Unpacked event, the leaked pricing information gives us a glimpse of what to expect from the Galaxy S26 series. While the price increases may come as a disappointment to some, it is essential to consider the factors influencing these changes in the market.

In terms of specifications, the Samsung Galaxy S26 will offer storage options ranging from 256GB to 512GB, with corresponding price increases. The Samsung Galaxy S26+ will follow a similar pattern, with prices starting at €1,269 for 256GB and going up to €1,469 for 512GB. The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra will be available in 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB variants, priced at €1,469, €1,669, and €1,969, respectively.

Despite the price hikes, it is worth noting that the Samsung Galaxy S26 series may not come with the significant upgrades that consumers were hoping for. One notable absence is the rumored Qi2 magnetic charging feature, which many were expecting to see in the new models. However, the Privacy Screen on the Ultra model could potentially offer a unique selling point.

Overall, the leaked pricing information for the Samsung Galaxy S26 series paints a picture of a premium smartphone lineup with higher price points. As the smartphone industry continues to evolve, it is not uncommon for flagship devices to come with a premium price tag. It remains to be seen how consumers will react to the price increases when the Samsung Galaxy S26 series officially launches.
