Samsung Galaxy S26 Series Pricing Revealed: What to Expect

Rumors surrounding the pricing of Samsung’s highly anticipated Galaxy S26 series have been swirling for weeks, leaving consumers eagerly awaiting official confirmation. However, a recent leak from reliable Samsung insider Anthony, also known as @TheGalox_, may have provided some clarity on the matter.

According to the leak, the starting prices for the Galaxy S26 series in the US have been unveiled. The Galaxy S26 is expected to start at $799 for the 12/256GB variant, while the S26 Plus will come in at $999 for the same storage configuration. The top-of-the-line S26 Ultra is rumored to start at $1,299 for the 12/256GB model, with higher storage options available as well.

What’s particularly noteworthy about these prices is that they are on par with the Galaxy S25 series, indicating that Samsung may be keeping pricing consistent for this new lineup. This news comes as a relief to many, especially considering earlier reports that hinted at potential price hikes across the board.

If history is any indication, UK pricing for the Galaxy S26 series is likely to mirror the US figures, with the base model starting at £799. This would position the Galaxy S26 as a competitively priced flagship device, offering premium features without breaking the bank.

Beyond pricing, the Galaxy S26 series is expected to bring significant upgrades in terms of hardware and features. The lineup is rumored to be powered by the latest chipsets, including the Exynos 2600 for the regular and Plus models, and the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for the Ultra variant. Additionally, all models are said to come with Qi2 wireless charging capabilities, adding convenience for users.

The Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to stand out with features like 60W wired charging and a new privacy-focused display coating that reduces viewing angles. Furthermore, the phones are rumored to ship with One UI 8.5, which promises a host of software improvements, including enhancements to Samsung’s virtual assistant, Bixby.

As for the release date, the latest rumors point to a launch event on February 25th in San Francisco, followed by a release date of March 11th. While this may mean a slightly longer wait for eager fans, the promise of enhanced hardware and software upgrades makes it well worth it.
