Samsung is set to release its highly anticipated Galaxy Z TriFold foldable phone on 5 December, according to reports from reputable sources. The Chosun Daily, a South Korean newspaper, has confirmed that the company is finalizing preparations for a public unveiling event, with sales expected to begin immediately after the launch.

Additionally, renowned leaker Evan Blass has revealed some key details about the Galaxy Z TriFold, including the final retail branding as the Galaxy Z TriFold. The device will feature a 6.5-inch cover display and a 10-inch internal screen, with peak brightness levels of 2600 and 1600 nits, respectively. The phone will consist of three distinct ‘leaves’ with varying thicknesses of 3.9, 4.0, and 4.2mm.

The main camera on the Galaxy Z TriFold will sport a 200MP sensor, similar to the one found in the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra. The device will be powered by a 5,437mAh battery, providing a significant boost in capacity compared to the Galaxy Z Fold 7. The processor details are yet to be confirmed, but it is expected to be equipped with a Snapdragon chipset, possibly the new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 or the older Snapdragon 8 Elite.

With these exciting details emerging, tech enthusiasts and Samsung fans are eagerly awaiting the official launch of the Galaxy Z TriFold. Stay tuned for more updates on this innovative foldable phone from Samsung.
