I continue to marvel at just how thin and light this thing is
The stunning 8-inch internal screen truly stands out. It boasts a resolution of 2256 x 2504, enhancing the clarity of text, images, and videos. With a peak brightness of 3000 nits, the display remains visible even in bright sunlight. This isn’t just a standout among foldables—it’s one of the best displays on any mobile device.

Additionally, the device’s thin and lightweight design continues to impress. Despite minimal changes from the previous model, its 215g weight is comparable to the Galaxy S26 Ultra. Even when closed, its 8.9mm thickness is only slightly more than the iPhone 17 Pro Max. Samsung’s achievement in maintaining this design remains impressive.
The Violet Shadow color is another highlight. After a brief hands-on experience, it left a lasting impression, and the excitement hasn’t faded. Given the Z Fold 8 Ultra’s robust durability, I’m comfortable using it without a case, not wanting to hide its beautiful finish.

However, the device’s IP48 rating is a minor downside, as it still isn’t completely dust-proof. For those prioritizing dust resistance, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold or the anticipated 11 Pro Fold are the alternatives currently available.
