Google Photos Coming to Samsung TVs in 2026

For years, Google Photos users have had to jump through hoops to view their photos and videos on the big screen. Whether casting from their phones to an Android TV or sideloading the app, the process has been cumbersome. But now, Samsung has announced that Google Photos will be coming to its TVs in 2026.

The integration will kick off with curated photos and videos displayed through the Memories feature, which will be exclusive to Samsung for the first six months. Users will simply need to sign in to their Google accounts to access their photos and videos on their Samsung TVs.

In addition to the basic features, Samsung also plans to introduce support for AI-powered functionalities. This includes Nano Banana-powered templates, image generation and editing capabilities, and the Remix feature, which allows users to transform their photos into different styles.

Shimrit Ben-Yair, vice president of Google Photos and Google One, expressed excitement about the collaboration, stating, “Google Photos is a home for people’s photos and videos, helping them organize and bring their memories to life. We’re excited to bring Google Photos to Samsung TVs — helping people enjoy their favorite photos on a larger screen and reconnect with their memories in new ways.”
