Samsung has been making waves in the smartphone industry with its innovative foldable phones, and now, details about the heavily rumored tri-fold foldable phone have just leaked online. According to tipster PandaFlashPro, who shared the information with Android Headlines, Samsung’s first tri-fold foldable phone is set to impress with its unique design and powerful performance.

This new foldable device will feature two hinges for a larger fold-out display, but surprisingly, it will not have an under-display selfie camera. The body of the phone will be crafted from a combination of titanium and aluminum, adding an extra layer of durability to the device.

In terms of performance, Samsung is rumored to be ditching its own Exynos processors in favor of a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor for the tri-fold foldable. This move is likely to ensure smooth and efficient performance, especially when paired with a generous 16GB of RAM.

However, not all aspects of the device are groundbreaking. Reports suggest that the battery capacity of the tri-fold foldable may not be as impressive as expected, hinting that Samsung may not be using silicon-carbon technology. Despite this, the battery is still expected to be higher-density compared to previous Samsung foldable phones.

As for the launch of the tri-fold foldable, Samsung is not expected to unveil the device at its upcoming Unpacked event on July 9. Instead, the focus will be on the standard Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7, Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7, and possibly the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip FE, as well as the Samsung Galaxy Watch 8. However, there may be a teaser for the new foldable vision from Samsung, so fans should stay tuned for more information.

It has been rumored that the tri-fold foldable phone will have a limited release, possibly only in South Korea and China. This strategy is similar to Xiaomi, which launched the world’s first tri-fold foldable phone, the Mate XT Ultimate, last year. While the Mate XT Ultimate impressed with its design, many are eagerly anticipating Samsung’s take on the tri-fold foldable phone, especially with its user-friendly software.

Overall, Samsung’s tri-fold foldable phone is shaping up to be a game-changer in the smartphone industry. With its unique design, powerful performance, and durable build, this device has the potential to set new standards for foldable phones. Fans will have to wait for more details to be revealed, but the anticipation for Samsung’s latest innovation is certainly building.
