A seaplane with 10 people on board crashed into New York City’s East River on Sunday, prompting a swift response from emergency crews, according to video footage.
The video shows the aircraft floating in the river with one wing submerged as rescue teams work to evacuate the passengers.
Officials reported that the plane made a hard landing in the turbulent waters and partially capsized shortly after 12 p.m.
The FDNY successfully rescued all ten passengers from the plane, and no injuries were reported.
