Mormon Wives Star Jessi Ngatikaura Opens Up About Affair Drama
In a recent interview with People, Jessi Ngatikaura, star of “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives,” bravely shared her experience of emotional abuse in her troubled marriage with Jordan.
Reflecting on her past, Jessi revealed, “As soon as it started happening, I was like, ‘Oh, this isn’t super normal,’ but also, you’re kind of used to it. It starts off slow. It’s not like one big dramatic thing happens. It’s little behaviors over time, and then all of a sudden you look back, and you’re too deep in it, and you can’t do much about it.”
Realizing the toxicity of her marriage, Jessi made the difficult decision to leave Jordan in season 3 of the show. She described this moment as a turning point, saying, “I have to do something or else this is never going to change.”
In response to Jessi’s revelations, Jordan issued a statement taking full accountability for the pain he caused his wife. The couple decided to seek therapy and agreed to a 90-day separation in an effort to save their marriage.
Reflecting on their relationship, Jessi acknowledged the mistakes made by both parties. She admitted to having an affair, while Jordan was guilty of emotional abuse. Despite their challenges, Jessi emphasized that it takes two to tango and that their toxic dynamic played a role in their marital struggles.
In a follow-up interview with Elite Daily, Jessi confirmed that she and Jordan were back together and actively working on their relationship.
As Jessi bravely shares her story, she sheds light on the complexities of marriage and the importance of addressing issues head-on. Her journey serves as a reminder that healing and growth are possible, even in the face of adversity.
