Chip and Joanna Gaines, the famous home renovation power couple behind the “Fixer Upper” empire, have become part-time residents of Colorado. In 2024, they purchased a property in Woody Creek near Aspen for $5.5 million. The couple embarked on a renovation project for the three different abodes on the property, which was documented in a limited TV series called “Colorado Mountain House.”
The main house underwent a significant redesign, adding bedrooms, bathrooms, a new kitchen, and two fireplaces. Two guest cottages were also updated as part of the project. Their eldest daughter, Ella, even took the lead in redesigning the smallest building.
The home now boasts a blend of Joanna’s rustic-chic style with a Colorado cabin vibe, featuring natural design elements like wood, stone, and a color palette of green tones. The result is a breathtaking transformation that showcases the couple’s impeccable taste.
You can take a virtual tour of the property below or catch up on the “Fixer Upper: Colorado Mountain Home” series by streaming it on HBO Max.
