Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco appear to have jumped headfirst into marital bliss!
“I married a real-life Disney princess,” Blanco, 37, shared in an Instagram post on Sunday, September 28, celebrating the day after their star-studded wedding ceremony with Gomez, 33.
In heartwarming fashion, Gomez replied in the comments, “I love you soooo much 🤍.”
Blanco also posted several photos from their wedding festivities, showcasing an endearing snapshot of the couple cozying up in bed the morning after their nuptials, as well as their elegant outfits from the ceremony.
While Blanco opted for the timeless charm of a classic black tuxedo, Gomez dazzled in a custom lace Ralph Lauren halter-neck gown, elegantly accessorized with exquisite jewelry crafted by Tiffany & Co. and a sweeping tulle veil.
Her hair, fashioned into a glamorous Old Hollywood-inspired wavy bob, was the handiwork of Joico stylist Renato Campora.
In a recent press release to Us Weekly, Campora noted, “Every detail had to be perfect for Selena Gomez’s hair on this day of love, unity, and joy. The end result was a timeless, flawless Hollywood Glamour Marcel Wave Bob, embodying beauty and perfection.”
Gomez and Blanco celebrated this joyous occasion surrounded by family and friends.
“What a perfect celebration for the most kickass couple I know! Honestly, the evening was gorgeous and absolutely flawless,” Gomez’s mother, Mandy Teefey, expressed in an Instagram post on Sunday. She continued, “All my love goes to my beautiful daughter @selenagomez and to the greatest son-in-law @itsbennyblanco!!!”
Teefey fondly remembered it as a fairy tale coming to life, especially as she watched her father escort her down the aisle.
The couple’s celebrity circle also graced the celebration, including Taylor Swift. Gomez and Swift, 35, have maintained a close bond since the early 2000s, having initially connected through their then-boyfriends Nick and Joe Jonas.
“The best thing we got out of those relationships was each other,” Gomez humorously remarked during her appearance on the “Therapuss” podcast last month.
Both celebrities have storied pasts with the Jonas Brothers musicians that, luckily for them, didn’t last long. Swift is currently engaged to NFL star Travis Kelce, while Gomez and Blanco embarked on their relationship in 2023. Blanco took the plunge, proposing to Gomez with a breathtaking marquise diamond ring in December 2024.
Reflecting on the engagement, Blanco described it as an elaborate surprise, explaining, “She had no idea, and it couldn’t have come at a better moment since I was starting to lose my way.” He humorously added, “Can you imagine preparing for a proposal while trying to convince your partner that you’re just hanging out with friends?” Fortunately, he managed to execute his plan without a hitch.
During the proposal, Blanco expressed, “It was genuinely sweet; I couldn’t have delivered the right words any better.”
Describing their partnership, he remarked, “Before I met her, I decided to focus entirely on being a grown-up and finding the right person.” He emphasized the mutual respect they share, stating, “There’s no ego between us. We genuinely uplift each other, and every morning, I ask myself how I can improve her life.”
