Tractor-Trailer Crash Causes Delays on I-70 in Aurora
A crash involving a tractor-trailer on westbound Interstate 70 in Aurora is leading to delays for Monday morning commuters, as reported by the Colorado Department of Transportation.
At 6:45 a.m., the crash had closed down the three right lanes of westbound I-70 between exit 286 for Tower Road and exit 285 for Airport Boulevard, according to CDOT.
CDOT officials estimated that westbound drivers were facing delays of more than 20 minutes.
Cameras in the vicinity of the crash depicted traffic moving past the tractor-trailer in a single open lane. Debris could be seen scattered under an overhead electronic sign, which the truck had reportedly collided with, according to Denver7.
