The Senate has struck a triumphant chord for American workers, farmers, and small businesses by passing President Donald J. Trump’s One Big Beautiful Bill — a sweeping legislative initiative that secures historic tax cuts, fortifies border security, reworks welfare, funds essential infrastructure, and much more.

Leaders across various industries have applauded the Senate’s decision, urging the House to expedite sending the bill to President Trump:

Airlines for America: “We appreciate the Senate’s recognition of the pressing need to reform our national air traffic control (ATC) system, allocating $12.5 billion in the reconciliation package for this purpose. This represents a crucial initial step as Secretary Duffy seeks to bring President Trump’s vision of a modernized ATC system to fruition. We particularly commend Commerce Committee Chairman Ted Cruz for his long-standing commitment to enhancing the safety and efficiency of our airspace. We implore the House of Representatives to swiftly pass this legislation so that President Trump can sign the One Big Beautiful Bill into law, initiating the much-needed upgrades to our ATC system and revitalizing our airways.”

America’s Credit Unions President and CEO Jim Nussle: “We extend our gratitude to the U.S. Senate for safeguarding the tax-exempt status of credit unions, ensuring that a new tax will not burden 142 million credit union members as part of H.R. 1. Hardworking Americans and their communities rely on the competitive rates and personalized services that credit unions provide to achieve their American Dream. Preserving this tax status opens up more opportunities for consumers nationwide to attain financial independence.”

American Airlines: “We fully support the essential funding aimed at enhancing and modernizing our air traffic control system included in the Senate reconciliation bill. Beyond staffing challenges, the technology and infrastructure of the U.S. air traffic control system have lagged behind many parts of the world. As President Trump and Secretary Duffy work urgently to develop a cutting-edge air traffic control system, this investment is a vital first step towards making air travel safer and more efficient. The reconciliation bill also extends vital pro-growth tax policies that provide businesses with the certainty needed to keep driving the economy. We call on the House to act promptly and pass the bill.”

American Farm Bureau Federation President Zippy Duvall: “We commend the U.S. Senate for advancing the reconciliation package. American farmers and ranchers form the backbone of our nation’s food supply chain, and they require the certainty this legislation promises. The enhancements to safety net programs that reflect the modern agricultural economy, alongside the retention of critical tax provisions, will directly support farming and ranching families … These important tax measures will help farmers save money for bills, invest in new technologies, and smoothly transition family farms to the next generation. We now urge the House to adopt the bill and deliver it to the president for his signature, ensuring that America’s farmers and ranchers can continue providing food for our families.”

American Federation for Children CEO Tommy Schultz: “The mission is clear: to extend school choice to every state in America. The vote today marks a historic milestone toward that objective … We eagerly anticipate President Trump signing school choice into law!”

American Hotel & Lodging Association President and CEO Rosanna Maietta: “AHLA praises the Senate’s quick action to avert significant tax increases on hotel employees and businesses. The tax provisions in the Senate bill provide small business hotel owners with the certainty needed to navigate the turbulent waters of inflation, trade challenges, and waning demand within the travel sector. We commend Majority Leader Thune, Senator Crapo, and other Senate leaders for their efforts in securing this passage. We urge Congress to expedite the transition of this package to the President’s desk to assist in restoring businesses to a pro-growth trajectory.”

American Iron and Steel Institute President and CEO Kevin Dempsey: “Capital investment is vital for driving growth and job creation in the American steel and broader manufacturing industries. Many of the crucial capital cost recovery provisions from the 2017 tax law have either expired or are being phased out. Restoring these provisions is essential for enabling companies to make new investments in steel-intensive facilities and equipment. We applaud the Senate’s passage of this legislation, which will permanently restore key provisions that have historically driven innovation and economic growth, including 100 percent bonus depreciation for business investments and immediate expensing for domestic R&D expenses. We urge the House to swiftly pass this bill and send it to President Trump for his immediate signature.”

American Petroleum Institute President and CEO Mike Sommers: “We commend the Senate for passing the One Big Beautiful Bill, a move that strengthens America’s energy position and promotes economic advancement. This landmark legislation is set to usher in a new era of energy dominance by unlocking investment prospects, opening lease sales, and broadening access to oil and natural gas development. We remain committed to collaborating with policymakers to secure this final package for President Trump’s signature.”

American Soybean Association President Caleb Ragland: “ASA applauds the Senate for its commitment to agriculture and the farming economy reflected in this legislation. Soybean growers have long advocated for comprehensive revisions to the 45Z Clean Fuel Production Credit, an improved safety net for agriculture, and increased support for research and market expansion. The modified biofuel tax credits, enhancements to crop insurance, and support for MAP and FMD, among other provisions, will bolster U.S. farmers and broaden market opportunities domestically. ASA urges the House to uphold these crucial agricultural provisions that benefit our rural economies as they deliberate on this legislation.”

American Trucking Association SVP of Legislative Affairs Henry Hanscom: “The American Trucking Associations expresses gratitude to Senate Republicans for crafting a package that guarantees tax reliability for our nation’s trucking companies. Trucking is the backbone of our economy, employing over 8.5 million Americans across businesses of all sizes. Implementing pro-business, pro-growth tax policies will empower these companies to better plan for the future, invest in their workforce and equipment, and ensure safe, efficient freight movement. Given that trucking handles 72% of America’s freight by tonnage and serves as the exclusive freight provider for over 80% of American communities, ATA looks forward to President Trump signing this measure into law as promptly as possible.”

Americans for Prosperity Chief Government Affairs Officer Brent Gardner: “We stand on the brink of delivering a landmark victory for Americans by solidifying pro-growth tax policy. If we pass this bill, job creators and families will have the assurance they need to invest in their businesses and futures, reigniting the American Dream. We are heartened by the constructive discussions that have brought this legislation back to the House and urge its swift passage so that Americans can start realizing the benefits of this transformative initiative without delay. Let’s fulfill our campaign promises and secure this victory for hardworking taxpayers.”

Associated Builders and Contractors VP of Government Affairs Kristen Swearingen: “Tax reliability and growth-oriented policies are not merely abstract goals for construction businesses—they form the foundation that enables ABC members to invest, grow, and keep America building. We express our appreciation to the Senate for passing this critical legislation and urge the House of Representatives to act decisively to send it to the president’s desk.”

Associated Equipment Distributors President and CEO Brian P. McGuire: “By permanently extending and restoring pro-growth, capital investment-oriented tax policies, the Senate is ensuring long-term tax code reliability that will benefit the equipment sector and the overall economy. AED commends Senate Majority Leader John Thune and his team for responding to our call for tax permanence, and we urge the House to quickly pass this legislation and send it to the president’s desk without delay.”

Association of Equipment Manufacturers SVP of Government and Industry Relations Kip Eideberg: “The Association of Equipment Manufacturers applauds the U.S. Senate’s passage of the One Big Beautiful Bill (OBBB) Act—a groundbreaking measure that will bolster U.S. manufacturing by providing the tax code certainty necessary for equipment manufacturers to innovate, invest, and create well-paying jobs right here in America. By extending and expanding the tax reforms from 2017, the OBBB will enhance manufacturing capabilities in America while also strengthening our global competitiveness. We commend Leader Thune for his leadership in ensuring the permanence of President Trump’s pro-growth tax reforms and applaud the lawmakers involved in driving this initiative forward. We urge the House of Representatives to act swiftly and send the bill to the president’s desk.”

Business Roundtable CEO Joshua Bolten: “Today’s vote positions us on the verge of extending and enhancing tax reform. Business Roundtable commends the Senate for passing the One Big Beautiful Bill … The House now has the chance to send a strong and decisive message that America will continue to be a premier destination for business investment, hiring, and growth. We urge the House to act without delay and deliver the bill to President Trump by July Fourth.”

Center for Transportation Policy Executive Director Jackson Shedelbower: “It is evident that lawmakers are united in their efforts to modernize the nation’s aging air traffic control systems. The $12.5 billion allocated in both versions of the package will serve as a strong initial investment to ensure that the U.S. maintains its reputation as a leader in global air travel. Lawmakers must resolve their remaining differences so this legislation can swiftly reach the finish line.”

CTIA—The Wireless Association President and CEO Ajit Pai: “CTIA applauds the Senate for advancing the One Big Beautiful Bill, which encompasses a solid spectrum pipeline and strategic tax provisions to foster wireless investment. Alongside restoring FCC auction authority, establishing a robust 800-megahertz mid-band spectrum pipeline within a set timeframe is crucial for meeting burgeoning consumer demand, securing U.S. leadership in 5G, and fortifying national and economic security. The targeted tax incentives in the bill will accelerate private investment in next-generation networks, supporting infrastructure deployment, job creation, and economic growth nationwide. We extend our gratitude to Senate leadership, including Majority Leader John Thune, Commerce Committee Chairman Ted Cruz, and Senator Marsha Blackburn for their commitment to securing America’s wireless future, and we urge prompt passage of this legislation so President Trump can sign it into law.”

Concerned Veterans for America Executive Director John Vick: “This legislation is a win for American families, small businesses, and veterans nationwide—key groups that form the foundation of a resilient and thriving nation. This is a significant moment for those who believe in hard work, opportunity, and service. The One Big Beautiful Bill Act lays the groundwork for enduring prosperity and a brighter future for those who have made the greatest sacrifices.”

Global Business Alliance President and CEO Jonathan Samford: “I commend Chairman Mike Crapo, Leader John Thune, and their Senate colleagues for advancing international tax policies that keep the U.S. as the top destination for global investment. These measures will help sustain American jobs, drive innovation, and foster a stable tax environment that attracts cross-border capital and world-class expertise. I urge swift action from the House for the final passage of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act to secure America’s competitive edge.”

Iowa Biodiesel Board Executive Director Grant Kimberley: “These enhancements to the biomass-based diesel tax incentive arrive at a critical juncture for the industry, which has faced months of uncertainty, stalled production, and hesitance to invest. Coupled with the EPA’s proposed increase in Renewable Fuel Standard volumes—projecting over 2 billion additional gallons of biomass-based diesel by 2026—these tax developments signal a significant resurgence in demand for clean fuels. This provides us with the much-needed certainty for the near future.”

Information Technology Industry Council President and CEO Jason Oxman: “The One Big Beautiful Bill will advance President Trump’s vision of ensuring that America outpaces its global competitors and remains the world leader in technology. We are pleased to see the Senate pass a reconciliation text rich in innovation-focused language that will empower companies to invest in America by restoring critical research and development expensing and stimulating economic growth and high-skilled job creation. We urge the House of Representatives to expedite sending this vital package to President Trump.”

Job Creators Network CEO Alfredo Ortiz: “With the passage of this tax cut bill, Republican Senators reaffirm their status as champions of Main Street. By expanding and solidifying the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, including restoring full, immediate expensing, the Senate has delivered historic, pro-growth reforms that can endure for generations. These tax cuts empower small business owners to invest, hire, raise wages, and reinvest in their communities, heralding a new Golden Age for America. On behalf of Main Street, JCN calls on the House to promptly adopt this legislation and send it to President Trump by July 4, offering America the best birthday gift it could wish for.”

National Association of Home Builders Chairman Buddy Hughes: “NAHB commends the Senate for passing the One Big Beautiful Bill Act. This legislation will stimulate economic growth and enable our members to allocate more resources toward multifamily rental construction, land development for new single-family homes, and new equipment for business expansion. Consequently, this will foster a better business climate that allows builders to increase the nation’s housing supply, which is essential for alleviating America’s housing affordability crisis. We urge the House to act swiftly to pass this bill.”

National Association of Manufacturers President and CEO Jay Timmons: “The Senate has made significant progress towards a touchdown for manufacturers across America. They’ve crafted a tax package that strengthens small businesses, family-owned operations, and manufacturing workers nationwide. This advancement propels manufacturers closer to their objective of growing businesses, creating jobs, and empowering robust communities. After months of effort and collaboration between manufacturers of all sectors and our leaders in Congress and the administration, the House now has the opportunity to finalize this legislation. We urge our partners in the House to send this bill to the president’s desk—the most impactful tax bill for manufacturers in a generation. When Congress supports the 13 million individuals involved in American manufacturing, it’s a win for manufacturing, and when manufacturing thrives, America thrives.”

National Business Aviation Association President and CEO Ed Bolen: “We extend our thanks to the Senate for acknowledging that a safe and efficient national airspace necessitates a robust and resilient ATC system, which enhances our nation’s global aviation leadership. Leading economists have found that immediate expensing provides businesses reliant on aviation with access to a pivotal competitive resource, while simultaneously strengthening the American manufacturing sector. These provisions signify a vital investment in an essential American industry, and for the citizens, businesses, and communities that depend on it. NBAA looks forward to continued advancements.”

National Cattlemen’s Beef Association SVP of Government Affairs Ethan Lane: “The Senate’s version of the One Big Beautiful Bill shields family farmers and ranchers across the nation from a looming tax increase at year’s end, raises the Death Tax exemption, solidifies the Section 199A tax deduction, increases the Section 179 tax deduction, funds foreign animal disease prevention initiatives, and delivers numerous additional benefits for cattle producers … It’s imperative for the House to pass this bill and send it to President Trump for his signature.”

National Corn Growers Association President Kenneth Hartman, Jr.: “NCGA has closely collaborated with Congress members throughout the drafting and voting process of this legislation. We are particularly pleased to see the permanent extension of specific tax provisions, which will deliver greater certainty to corn farmers nationwide as they strategize for their businesses’ futures.”

National Cotton Council Chairman Patrick Johnson: “The NCC is grateful for the remarkable effort that has gone into the formulation and passage of the One Big Beautiful Bill. We appreciate the Senate’s commitment to providing meaningful improvements to the cotton safety net, which is vital for the stability and future of our industry.”

National Council of Farmer Cooperatives President and CEO Chuck Conner: “We applaud the Senate for advancing permanent tax relief through the extension of Section 199A, a pivotal priority for farmer cooperatives that ensures they are not penalized for collaborating. Equally significant are the provisions extending Section 179 expensing and the clean fuel production credit under Section 45Z, which furnish producers and cooperatives with the incentives and tools needed to innovate, invest, and lead the transition toward a more sustainable agricultural future. Additionally, we appreciate the Senate’s focus on the needs of production agriculture by updating reference prices and commodity title support to align with contemporary economic realities. Coupled with a substantial increase in funding for market development initiatives, these provisions will empower producers to tap into new markets and remain competitive amid global uncertainty. Now, the House of Representatives must act. We urge lawmakers to consider the Senate package without delay and send it to the president’s desk before the July 4th recess. America’s farmers cannot afford to wait.”

National Council of Textile Organizations President and CEO Kim Glas: “On behalf of the U.S. textile industry, I commend Senate leaders for incorporating a vital provision in the broader budget reconciliation bill that will permanently eliminate de minimis for commercial shipments from all countries, effective July 2027. The Senate’s language aligns with a provision included in the House reconciliation package that passed earlier in May … We are also grateful that the Trump administration has utilized executive authority to end de minimis access for Chinese goods, which account for approximately two-thirds of all de minimis shipments—while also laying the groundwork to close de minimis access for commercial shipments from all nations.”

National Foreign Trade Council VP for International Tax Policy Anne Gordon: “We welcome the Senate’s passage of the One Big Beautiful Bill … We appreciate the Senate’s decision to maintain the core international and business provisions of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act in its version of the bill, as well as including permanent immediate expensing for research and development and reinstating depreciation and amortization in the interest deduction limitation. We are also pleased to see the Senate make permanent the look-through for controlled foreign corporations and introduce other long-awaited international tax reforms for U.S. corporations. As the House reviews the revised bill, we encourage swift consideration and passage of tax legislation that incentivizes investment, innovation, and global opportunities for America’s job creators.”

National Milk Producers Federation President Gregg Doud: “Dairy farmers are thankful for legislation that will introduce several key opportunities for the dairy sector. Following last month’s successful House vote, we are excited that the Senate’s legislation also positions these investments to benefit dairy farmers and their cooperatives. We hope these provisions are enacted into law as swiftly as possible.”

National Mining Association President and CEO Rich Nolan: “We urge the House to promptly pass this bill, which enhances the competitiveness of the American mining sector and provides essential incentives, including funding to counter China’s mineral dominance. The bill also facilitates the availability of improperly withdrawn lands for energy production, crucial for maintaining a reliable electric grid to power our nation’s future. Through these measures, the bill is poised to directly support U.S. economic growth and security. The mining industry is integral to virtually every American supply chain; a robust mining sector establishes a strong foundation for every industry reliant on our products and energy. We will persist in advocating with Congress and the administration for additional domestic mining and mineral production and processing support.”

National Pork Producers Council President Duane Stateler: “We are grateful for the efforts of Agriculture Chair John Boozman and other Senate leadership in ensuring that key animal health provisions were integrated into the bill, alongside tax measures vital to agriculture. Foreign animal diseases (FADs) pose a threat not just to the livelihoods of pork producers but also to our food supply chain as a whole. We express gratitude to our congressional leaders for these vital steps to safeguard our pork supplies, making them secure and affordable for American families.”

National Restaurant Association EVP for Public Affairs Sean Kennedy: “This bill encompasses the most crucial pro-growth tax policies that restaurant operators require to continue energizing the national economy. The inclusion of permanent policies for the 199A qualified business income deduction, full expensing of capital investments, and the return of depreciation and amortization in the calculation of business interest expenses will provide restaurant operators with the working capital needed to invest in their businesses and workforce. We also welcome the inclusion of policies like No Tax on Tips and Overtime, which will benefit our employees. We appreciate the dedication that has gone into advancing this bill through the Senate and encourage the House to act quickly, sending it to the President for his signature.”

National Roofing Contractors Association CEO McKay Daniels: “This legislation is pivotal in providing certainty for all businesses to keep investing in their employees and expanding their firms. Specifically, the bill is a remarkable victory for ‘main street,’ family-owned and pass-through entities that make up 95% of all U.S. businesses and employ the majority of private-sector workers. Without the passage of this legislation, our industry would face increased tax burdens and reduced global competitiveness. Congress must act swiftly to secure a stable future for America’s job creators.”

National Small Business Association President and CEO Todd McCracken: “NSBA commends the Senate for passing H.R. 1, the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, which includes NSBA’s top priority: permanence for the small-business tax rate cut embodied in the 199A Qualified Business Income deduction. Enacting this provision and others—including reversing a problematic change to the R&D tax deduction—is a significant win for small business. As our nation prepares to celebrate Independence Day, I urge the House to adopt the language approved in the Senate and provide America’s small businesses with the freedom and independence they need and deserve to flourish.”

National Sorghum Producers Chair Amy France: “These critical improvements will aid sorghum producers in managing risks, planning for the future, and remaining competitive. We are thankful to Chairman Boozman and other leaders in the Senate Agriculture Committee for ensuring these priorities were included in the final bill.”

Nuclear Energy Institute President and CEO Maria Korsnick: “We applaud the U.S. Senate for advancing policies that acknowledge nuclear energy’s vital role in achieving a reliable, affordable, and increasingly clean energy system. The Senate version of the budget reconciliation bill reinstates the nuclear power production tax credit through 2032 and tax credits for new nuclear generation through 2033, while retaining transferability for both. The Senate’s approach also preserves the Loan Program Office’s viability by extending its authority and funding from 2026 to 2028, albeit with a $1 billion appropriation that is less than currently available. Maintaining these tax provisions will continue to address economic barriers and instill confidence in investments for today’s nuclear plants while ensuring long-term, well-paying jobs. Additionally, the bill allows us to pursue the administration’s ambitious goals for deploying new, cutting-edge nuclear technologies to meet the growing demand for reliable energy.”

Philanthropy Roundtable COO Elizabeth McGuigan: “Now more than ever, we require a robust and vibrant civil society. Government spending is declining—which we consider a positive development—and generous Americans are willing to support causes and communities across the nation. We are particularly thankful for President Donald J. Trump’s leadership, whose pro-growth, pro-American agenda continues to inspire responsible economic stewardship. We encourage the House to swiftly pass the Senate bill and do so without modifications.”

RATE Coalition Executive Director Dan Combs: “Today’s vote is a significant achievement for workers, businesses, and the American economy overall. By preserving the 21 percent corporate tax rate, the Senate has reaffirmed its commitment to a competitive tax structure that drives investment, fuels job growth, and ensures the U.S. remains the best place in the world to start and grow a business. We applaud this decisive, pro-growth action and urge lawmakers to finalize the legislation and send it to President Trump’s desk without delay.”

Small Business & Entrepreneurship Council President and CEO Karen Kerrigan: “We commend Republican Senate leaders for their relentless efforts in advancing the ‘One Big Beautiful Bill Act’ to this pivotal stage for America’s small business owners and entrepreneurs. Their dedication to propelling this impactful package demonstrates a profound commitment to the success of Main Street businesses nationwide and to the future of U.S. entrepreneurship. Now, House members must focus on the extensive gains within the legislation for the U.S. economy, workers, families, and small business owners. We urge the House to promptly pass the bill so it can be signed by President Trump.”

Steel Manufacturers Association: “Congratulations to the @SenateGOP for passing H.R. 1! This bill will make historic investments in our workers, communities, and economy, benefiting all.”

The LIBRE Initiative President Daniel Garza: “We commend the Senate for passing H.R. 1 to make the Trump tax cuts permanent—provisions that have demonstrated real benefits for hardworking families, job creators, and entrepreneurs across the nation. For Latinos—who are starting businesses at a notable rate and driving local economies—this bill is not only good policy, it’s essential. By making low tax rates and small business provisions permanent, this legislation ensures that Latino workers, small business owners, and families can thrive with increased certainty, flexibility, and opportunity. Tax relief enables families to retain more of their earnings, invest in their futures, and navigate economic uncertainty with confidence. We applaud the Senate for sending a clear message that the American Dream remains attainable for all—especially those striving to improve their lives.”

U.S. Chamber of Commerce EVP and Chief Policy Officer Neil Bradley: “With today’s vote, the Senate has taken decisive action to deliver the type of permanent tax relief the American business community has long sought. The tax provisions within this bill will not only stimulate economic growth and enhance America’s competitive edge but also increase workers’ take-home pay, driving prosperity in communities nationwide. The Chamber expresses gratitude to Leader Thune, Chairman Crapo, and all those working to make the pro-growth reforms of the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act a permanent fixture in the tax code, including the deduction for domestic R&D expenditures, 100% bonus depreciation for specific business investments, and an expanded business interest limitation. We applaud the Senate for voting to incorporate these provisions permanently into the tax framework. We urge lawmakers to act swiftly to pass the OBBBA and deliver it to President Trump for signing.”

USA Rice Farmers Chair LG Raun: “USA Rice commends the Senate for advancing the OBBB Act, which includes a crucial and historic investment in the farm safety net. We urge the House of Representatives to adopt and pass this bill, complete with essential agricultural investments, before the Fourth of July.”

Wine & Spirits Wholesalers of America President and CEO Francis Creighton: “On behalf of the Wine & Spirits Wholesalers of America, I express gratitude to the United States Senate for passing President Trump’s One Big Beautiful Bill Act under Section 198A. This vital legislation empowers America’s family-owned wholesalers to reinvest, compete, and thrive. We urge the U.S. House to act swiftly and send this bill to the President’s desk without delay.”
