Trump has never appeared so enthralled before, according to Meyers. He is usually surrounded by uncharismatic individuals like Stephen Miller, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., and JD Vance. Therefore, when he encountered someone with charisma, he was completely taken aback, as if he were on a date with the star quarterback.
Imagine spending your days with dreary figures like Stephen Miller and JD Vance, only to meet a 34-year-old social media sensation who rapped in a halal cart and starred in a Disney movie.
Later on, Meyers showed a clip of Trump interrupting Mamdani during a press conference. When asked about being referred to as a fascist, Trump responded in a playful manner, patting Mamdani on the arm and telling him it’s easier to just say “Yes.”
Meyers humorously commented on Trump’s response, joking that it was the flirtiest way he had ever heard someone accept being called a fascist. He then proceeded to impersonate Trump, saying, “You can call me a fascist, you can call me – I’ll be whatever you want me to be!”
