Sha’Carri Richardson Arrested for Driving Over 100 MPH

Sha’Carri Richardson is no stranger to going fast. However, this time, her need for speed landed her in trouble with the law. The U.S. track star was arrested in Florida for excessive speeding, with reports indicating that she was traveling over 100 miles per hour.
The 25-year-old Richardson was taken into custody by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office in the Orlando area. According to authorities, she was driving recklessly, dangerously tailgating other vehicles and crossing lanes to pass them.
This isn’t the first time Richardson has had a run-in with the law. In July, she was arrested for assault following an altercation with her boyfriend, fellow track star Christian Coleman, at an airport in Seattle.
Although the previous case has been resolved, Richardson now faces another legal issue. She is currently in custody, with a $500 bond set for her release.
