The 2025 Golden Grand Prix, a World Athletics Continental Tour gold event, took place on May 18th, showcasing some of the world’s top track and field athletes competing in various disciplines including the 100m, 110m/100m hurdles, 200m, 400m, 400m hurdles, 1500m, 3000m, triple jump, javelin throw, high jump, and long jump.

In the men’s 100m event, Japan’s Hiroki Yanagita claimed victory with a time of 10.06s, while Christian Miller of the USA finished second with a time of 10.08s. Christian Coleman, a three-time world champion, settled for third place with a time of 10.11s. On the women’s side, Australia’s Bree Rizzo emerged victorious in the 100m race with a time of 11.38s, while Sha’Carri Richardson, the reigning world champion and Olympic gold medalist, finished in fourth place with a time of 11.47s.
