Japanese Pop Star Ren Meguro Joins “Shogun” Season 2 Cast
Japanese pop star and actor Ren Meguro has been announced as the latest addition to the cast of “Shogun” Season 2. Meguro, known for his work in the idol group Snow Man and various television productions, will take on the role of Kazutada in the upcoming season.
Expressing his excitement for joining the series, Meguro stated, “I am incredibly honored to join the cast of ‘Shogun’ season two. The unique and grand portrayal of Japan in the series resonated with me, and I felt a strong desire to be a part of this groundbreaking production.”

Meguro joins a talented cast of newcomers including Asami Mizukawa, Masataka Kubota, Sho Kaneta, Takaaki Enoki, and Jun Kunimura. Returning original cast members include Hiroyuki Sanada, Cosmo Jarvis, Fumi Nikaidô, and more.
“Shogun” Season 2 is set to continue the saga of two men from different worlds, ten years after the events of the first season. Directors Hiromi Kamata and Takeshi Fukunaga, along with other notable directors, are set to helm episodes for the upcoming season.
