The supervisory board of the wood-based fiber manufacturer Lenzing has approved a three-year extension to the mandate of chief pulp and chief technology officer Christian Skilich, allowing him to serve until May 31, 2029.
Meanwhile, chief financial officer Nico Reiner will not be extending his term, which is set to end on December 31, 2025. Starting January 1, 2026, Mathias Breuer will take over as CFO. Breuer, who joined the management team in 2023, has played a key role in formulating and executing a company-wide performance initiative.

German textile machinery leader Karl Mayer has appointed Lutz Wolf as its sole CEO. He will oversee the company, which operates internationally from its headquarters in Obertshausen, Germany. Most recently, Wolf served on the executive board of the Neuenhauser Group for eight years, with approximately four as CEO, managing the textile machinery and automation segments along with the entire metal processing division of the engineering group.
B Corp-certified technology firm Unspun has welcomed Chris Blakeslee as its inaugural independent board member. Blakeslee, who most recently held the position of president and CEO of the Gap-owned lifestyle brand, Athleta, will continue to advise the company through this fall. He brings nearly 15 years of experience in the apparel industry, previously serving as president of Alo Yoga and in senior roles across operations, supply chain, sales, and sourcing at wholesale distributor Alphabroder.
Blakeslee will be joining the existing board members, including Unspun’s Beth Esponnette, Walden Lam, and Kevin Martin, alongside Milo Werner of DCVC, Shuo Yang from Lowercarbon Capital, and Duncan Turner from SOSV and Hax.
Swiss sneaker brand On Holding’s chief operating officer, Sam Wenger, will step down at year’s end after eight years in the position. Chief innovation officer Scott Maguire will transition to the newly expanded role of chief innovation and operations officer beginning in 2026, with Wenger remaining until the end of the first quarter.
Contemporary British menswear brand Wax London has appointed Patrick Duggan, former creative director at Debenhams, as its new brand director. Duggan had previously collaborated with Wax London as a brand and creative consultant on a freelance basis in 2020.
