Sky is revolutionizing the streaming game with its new Ultimate TV package, set to launch in March. This single subscription will give users access to a plethora of popular streaming services including Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, and Hayu, all starting from just £24 per month.
Existing Sky customers are in for a treat as they will automatically receive over £20 worth of streaming apps monthly. Disney+ subscribers can also save £5.99 by migrating their subscription to Sky. The integrated content will be accessible through Sky’s familiar OS interface across Sky Stream, Sky Glass, and Sky Q devices.
The new Sky Ultimate TV package will allow subscribers to create playlists and seamlessly switch between shows from different services right on their home screen. Voice commands will also be available to navigate the service with ease.
Existing customers will receive different sets of services based on their current subscription. Sky Stream and Sky Glass customers with Sky Ultimate TV will have access to Disney+ Standard with Ads, HBO Max Basic With Ads, Hayu, Sky TV, and Netflix. Sky Q customers with Sky Signature, Sky Entertainment, and other eligible packages will get Disney+ Standard with Ads, HBO Max Basic With Ads, Hayu, and Sky TV. Sky Q customers with Sky Ultimate TV will receive all of the above plus Netflix. Sky+ customers will have access to HBO Max Basic With Ads, Hayu, and Sky TV.
Users who already subscribe to Disney+ Standard and Disney+ Premium can transfer their plan to Sky to save £5.99 per month. Those with Disney+ and HBO Max can upgrade their membership tier, with the cost based on the higher plan subscription. Now Entertainment will cost £4.99 a month with the 6-month Monthly Saver option and HBO Max Basic with Ads will be added at no extra cost. The combined Now Entertainment & HBO Max package will be available for £6.99 a month, with existing customers receiving it at no extra cost. Sky Cinema customers with Sky Q, Sky Glass, or Sky Stream will also have access to the Disney+ Cinema channel.
